英国t4学生签证是几年?
英国Tier 4 (General) Student Visa is a visa for students to come and study in the UK. The Tier 4 student visa has two different types:
1. Standard Visa : This type of student visas can be issued from within or outside United Kingdom, but it’s usually only suitable if you have been given a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies, known as CAS by your educational institution. And this CAS will also contain information about fees that they charge every year and their immigration status. If you already hold a Tier 4 visa which expired more than 12 months ago, then you need to apply at a British High Commission or Consulate General overseas. You will require a current passport when applying for a new standard Tier 4 visa. A student who studies part-time does not qualify for this visa unless certain other conditions are met. However, this kind of visa allows those who are studying on a degree programme with less than 21 hours per week to work up to 10 hours during the vacation time. Those taking a course for higher level qualifications may not do any paid work whilst studying and must leave the country after completion of their studies, even though an endorsement on the visa may state that the validity runs beyond this date. There was another sub-category of ‘standard’ Tier 4 visa, called the ‘student migration route’(SMR), available between August 2013 and July 2015. Students could stay for longer durations under SMR, however they were limited to one-year courses. It was designed so that students would take courses leading directly to employment rather than purely academic ones – something universities felt had become too easy since the change to a points-based system in January 2013. But the government decided not to renew its approval, stating that it did not “meet our objective”.
2. Tier 4 (Child) Student Visa : Children younger than 16 years old can get this kind of visas. Child student has no restriction regarding duration of stay and working hours while going to school. If child goes to university or college full-time, he/she is allowed to work upto
