However，for some sub-classes，you must leave Australia before your visa expires unless you are applying for another visa. This situation applies if you hold a Subclass 482 TSS Work visa，a work permit which has been converted from an earlier Subclass 457 visa，or if you have recently entered Australia on a visitor visa， which allows entry for up to six months while you seek to apply for other visas.
